DESCRIPTION:As was announced in February\, the VCC Board of Directors finalized the date  \n of the 2013 Annual General Meeting as Wednesday\, June 5.\n \n All members are welcome to attend the AGM\, and an official notice of meeting  \n - complete with agenda and related AGM documents - will be distributed to the  \n membership no later than two weeks before the meeting.\n \n Our AGM is an important activity for our member-run organization. It provides  \n the Board an opportunity to summarize its activities for the year\, and it  \n also gives members a chance to voice their feedback. Each year at the AGM\, a  \n number of positions on the Club’s Board of Directors are up for election.\n \n The role of the Board is to provide valuable insight\, assistance and guidance  \n to Management and to set the overall strategic vision for the Club. It is  \n important to have a diverse skill set on the board as well as broad league  \n representation. We encourage people who want to volunteer their time to speak  \n with the Club president to gain an understanding of the time and level of  \n commitment required. This is your chance to make a difference.
