Congratulations to Team Gessner on securing a spot at this year's Mixed Provincials! They competed in the Lower Mainland Mixed playdowns in Delta and ended up playing all 8 draws in the competition. They will continue their competitive journey at the 2014 BC Mixed Provincial Championship in Duncan this March with an eye on the championship and a spot representing BC in North Bay this fall.
The Club wishes them all the best and good curling!

The David Thompson Boys Curling Team competed in the Zone 2 Playdowns on January 17th and 18th at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster. The boys coasted to back-to-back wins on the first day of play against Saint Thomas More and Eric Hamber Secondary, earning a bye. With day 2 came a setback, however, as they boys were defeated by an improved STM team. But it was not over for them! With both DT and STM having lost one game, it came down to a final re-match. Thompson re-grouped and came back fighting in an incredibly close and exciting final to win the zones and earn a berth at the BC High School Curling Championships happening next week in Parksville.
The boys are ready and excited to compete in their second Provincial Championship in as many years. They hope to do the club proud and bring nothing but good news home with us next weekend. Good luck boys!
