Canada versus Scotland at the VCC in January

The creators of curling are coming to the Vancouver Curling Club in January 2013 when a hoard of Scottish curlers descend on the Club. The VCC is proud to be a host club for the 2013 Strathcona Cup Tour - a tradition dating back to 1902 that sees curlers from Canada and Scotland compete every five years.

This unique event has grown over the decades and is a fun-filled competitive affair. The 2013 Strathcona Cup marks the largest event yet with over 427 games that will be played across Canada as three different groups of touring Scottish curlers complete tours of the west, central and eastern Canada.

The VCC is pleased to welcome four men's teams from Scotland on Friday, January 11, 2013, and you can be selected to be one of the lucky Canadians to represent our country. The day features curling in the afternoon and a banquet in the evening. For complete details on how you can enter for your chance to play against the Scots in the Strathcona Cup, please click here.
