April 30th is fast approaching... and that means time is running out to purchase your raffle ticket to be the final person to throw a rock in our current facility. Who will the winner be?
Meanwhile, have you marked off April 30th on your calendar to attend the Last Rock Open House and the Last Rock Ceremony?

Last Rock Raffle: You can be the person to throw the last rock (ever) in our current for only $10 per ticket. Your entry deadline is 7pm on April 30th, and all monies raised will benefit the VCC Capital Development Fund to support the move to our new home.

There are two events happening on Saturday, April 30th. The Last Rock Open House is your chance to experience the sand-based floor for the final time. Members past & present, guests and the general public are all invited to throw rocks on our final day of curling in our current facility, anytime between 11am to 4:30pm. The Last Rock Ceremony will be a chance to celebrate the club's history as we prepare to the close the current chapter -- and then get ready to write a new one in the fall of 2011 when we move into our new facility. The Last Rock Ceremony is a ticketed event (only $20 and includes tapas & a celebratory toast) that takes place in the evening at 7pm. Click here for details on the Ceremony.
