VCC Club Challenge Playdowns halfway finished

The first day of qualifying took place on Saturday, November 21st to determine the VCC men's and women's teams to represent the club at the Lower Mainland division of the Dominion Curling Club Championships of British Columbia.

The women's reprsentative has been determined and Team Inglis will represent the VCC. The team is made up of skip Sharon Inglis, third Sharon Carefoot, second Pat Upper, lead Debby Volbrecht and fifth Dianne Petrant.

The men's division, meanwhile, is down to the final two teams. Team Faa of Thursday Open made it through the first day undefeated while Team Ward of the Super Seniors League has already had their first loss in the double-knockout competition. The two teams will be playing off on January 23rd to determine the VCC's male representative.
