The rainy season is upon us so that the means leaves, needles, mud and more will come in on your shoes when you enter the club.

So since there has been recent increase in the amount of grass and mud debris, we would like ask everyone to:

* Please clean your shoes as best as you can when you come in the door by using the Boot Boy that has recently been placed near the front door.

* Always have a pair of curling shoes or shoes used only for on-ice activity.

If you are wearing shoes that were made for Curling (as opposed to shoes you have dedicated to Curling) we would ask that you not run your grippers and Curling shoe grippers on the Boot Boy.

We would ask that anyone that is using shoes that are not Curling shoes to please run your shoes through the Boot Boy to make sure they are clean.

The concern is that the Boot Boy may be contributing to a rise in gripper rubber on the ice. We are not sure if this is the case but we are willing to check it out to try to continue top keep debris on the ice at a minimum.
